INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF SOVEREIGN NATIONS

Charter

Article I

Sovereign International Council

  1. The name of the accreditation body is “INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF SOVEREIGN NATIONS” (“ICOSN” or “Council”).
  2. The Council is a body established by its members starting as of 2024 as a legally non-binding virtual platform with no subsidiary responsibility for its members.
  3. This document, the “Charter”, is produced by its members and constitutes ICOSN’s Operating Agreement.

Article II

Purpose

  1. The purpose of the Sovereign International Council is the advancement of the sovereign nation-states around the world and providing a platform and membership to organizations, platforms, movements, and individuals that are engaged in representing their nations in the new Multipolar World order on the basis of the ICOSN’s standards, and contribution to international cooperation and development of support, advice and help among its members.

Article III

Membership

  1. Membership of an organization follows specific procedure for application and granting of membership that shall be determined by the Council’s Panel.
  2. The ICOSN shall maintain a register of accredited institutions that will be published on the Council’s internet website (proposed free hosting at: https://sovereign-international.org)
  3. There will be no annual fees for ICOSN’s accredited members.

Article IV

Organization

  1. Management – The founding members will manage ICOSN’s affairs and develop its principles, policies and standards through its Council and its elected President.
  2. Panel – The Council’s Panel will review and grant membership to applicants.
  3. Panel members – The Council Panel consists of three (3) selected members, who shall serve five-year terms with possibilities of extension.
  4. Remuneration – There will be no remuneration and the duties will be performed on pro bono basis.

Article V

Decision-making

  1. General MeetingsWhen the number of members accredited by the ICOSN reaches appropriate level of over 10 members, a General Meeting of the members shall be held, once a year.
  2. Quorum – A simple majority of the members shall constitute a quorum for the decision-making.
